Firecat’s Chief Web Strategist and CEO Susan Price is conducting a series of hands-on web design workshops with IABC-San Antonio. On Thursday, September 10 participants will work on website personas and scenarios.
The International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) brings together marketing, PR and communications professionals to share knowledge, help one another’s careers, and keep up with the latest tools and techniques.
Firecat Studio is co-sponsoring the series of workshops, which will guide IABC-San Antonio’s members and their guests through the planning, strategy and design of a brand-new IABC-San Antonio chapter website optimized for content management and leveraging new social media tools.
At the opening session, held on Thursday, September 10, 2009 at Aldaco’s Sunset Station, Susan will guide participants through the development of user personas and desired behavior scenarios for the IABC-San Antonio Chapter. Four different teams will focus on different user personas: prospective members, existing members, corporate sponsors and employers, and students and educators.
Expert panelists for the event include Becky Bridges of the Greater San Antonio Chamber of Commerce, Sheri Rosen, Vice President of Employee Communications at Frost Bank, and Sarah Plaster, Executive Director of Member Communications at USAA.
