Craving more order and a faultless memory? Shaine Mata will show us how Evernote, another free web tool, can keep track of lists, bookmarks, receipts, notes, recipes and much, much more in this free coworking and brownbag workshop on Fri., Sept 7.

Outsource Your Brain to Evernote

Shopping lists. Bookmarks and links. Meeting notes. Project agendas. Your reading pile. Music or apps or gadgets you intend to look into buying. To-dos. Research. Travel planning. Receipts. There’s a lot to keep track of in your life, and a zillion ways to keep track of them.

What if there was ONE place you could store all that? And what if this place was taggable, its ephemera findable? Accessable on any of your devices, computer, smart phone or tablet? And free?

That’s Evernote, and we’ve got two crackerjack folks on tap to show us the ropes, complete with examples. Shaine Mata is a tech coach and consultant based in Mission, Texas, and Shelley Cook is a digital strategist based in San Antonio. They both use Evernote for all kinds of tasks, and they use it somewhat differently. You’ll come away with lots of great examples and ideas.
