Firecat First Friday Coworking and Brownbag
It’s time again for the Firecat First Friday Coworking and Brownbag – this month that’s Friday, November 6, 2009. From 9 am to 4 pm each month, we open Firecat Studio for a day of coworking, conducted open house style. Pack your laptop, drop in for whatever part of the day you can spend hanging out, working and informally networking with other fascinating Central Texans.
You don’t have to be a web or social media geek — though you’ll likely meet several of those. We get architects, teachers, accountants, students, nonprofit directors, writers, lawyers, realtors, bankers, motivational speakers, coaches — all kinds of folks.
Brownbag Lunch Topic:
Content Ideas: What To Say In Facebook, Twitter, Your Blog, etc.
It’s easier than ever to create a web site, blog, or Twitter or Facebook profile. What should you say, and where should you say it? How often? We’ll answer these questions:
- How often should I post?
- Can I generate leads without shamelessly pimping my own business?
- How can I tell whether anyone’s paying attention?
- Where can I get fresh ideas?
- Is there a right way to give credit to other folks? (Yes!)
- It’s a two-way conversation. But what do I do if I don’t like where it’s going?
Be ready to share your ideas, and to recommend some folks you find worth following. If you have specific expertise or questions regarding the topic, let us know through the Firecat Studio contact form.
Please Register
Our little informal coworking sessions have grown! We need you to register so we can arrange for the food, beverages, and chairs. But no worries; if you found out at the last minute – come on out, we’ll make room.
