It’s August already, did it sneak up on you? Our Firecat First Friday coworking session is Friday, August 7, and we’ll share some of the Twitter and Facebook management tools we learned about at the recent TweetCamp San Antonio.

Firecat First Friday Coworking and Brownbag

It’s time again for Firecat First Friday Coworking and Brownbag – Friday, August 7 from 9 am to 5 pm, we open our doors for a coworking session. Just bring your laptop and drop in during the day when you can to hang out and network with other smart San Antonio folkses, open house style.

Brownbag: Twitter and Facebook Management Tools

At noon, we’ll share some light sandwich fare while exploring tools specifically designed to help you manage social media campaigns, including:

  • Seesmic
  • TweetSpinner
  • HootSuite
  • TweetDeck
  • SocialToo

… and any other social media apps that you may be curious about or find helpful. I’m particularly eager to review the newly launched Sponsored Tweets – as if spam wasn’t already heavy enough in Twitter, here comes the first in-line ad tweeting application. Let’s talk over the implications of THAT.

Did you miss TweetCamp? Social Media Club? Social Media Breakfast? Even if you did, it isn’t physically possible to be in all the great meetings, but together, we can. I’m meeting lots of people conducting social media campaigns with a business focus, and many more people eager for tips in managing a true social media campaign.

Here’s a little video to get you in the mood:
