Hootsuite is one of the most powerful social media monitoring and posting tools out there. Because it’s so full-featured, it’s a bit intimidating to learn.
That’s why we’ve got Hootsuite Regional Ambassador Scott Croom to walk us through the tool at this month’s Firecat First Friday – a free coworking and lunch session. In addition to the basics of how the tool works, he’ll cover:
- Making the most of a free Hootsuite account ? and when it makes sense to pony up for Pro.
- Adding social media accounts and organize your dashboard.
- Monitoring conversations and users.
- Setting up the right notifications for just in time interactions.
- Reading results: Using Hootsuite analytics to measure success.
- Applying best practices for team collaboration.
Bring your questions and examples – and if you’re not yet a Hootsuite user, sign up for the free trial before the session!

January: Goal Setting Session
The First Friday in January is January 2. Some of us will elect to stay home in the bunny slippers and enjoy that last day of holiday.
But the few, the intrepid, will gather at Peer1 Hosting for some coworking, goal-setting and sharing of planning and organizational tools and techniques.
Either way, we’re set to rock 2015!
Block out noon – 1:30 pm on each first Friday of the month – make lunch plans with Firecat coworkers and your own brain.
