To help other women entrepreneurs, Susan Price will present a special Firecat H.O.T. (Hands-On Training) workshop "Social Media 101" to the South Texas Women's Business Center on Thursday, November 19, 2009 from 9-11 am.

Bring your questions! Susan has specific experience leveraging social media on behalf of businesses, from Fortune 200 companies, to mid-sized organizations, to small bootstrap operations and startups. She'll cover "Why Your Business Should Have a Social Media Presence" and as much of the "How to Position Your Business on LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter" in this two-hour special session.
Registration is free; a $10 donation to the South Texas Women's Business Center is requested.
"Small businesses have a lot to gain from Social Media presence," Susan says. "If your business benefits and grows through word-of-mouth referrals, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn are relatively easy and inexpensive ways to amplify that word-of-mouth effect."
Firecat Studio creates strategies for business that leverage web technology, email and social media to connect with customers, prospects, employees and other stakeholders.
